Travisty Productions was founded in 1985 by Carolyn Travis. After over a decade as a TV writer/reporter and a stint as a Top 40 radio news personality she wanted to explore the pop culture history of her generation, collaborating with talents like comedian Elayne Boosler and Davy Jones of The Monkees.
In 1991 she joined forces with her future husband, Madison Avenue creative director/commercial producer and author Chris Fox Gilson. Their projects include the award-winning documentaries, Wildwood Days and Airplay: The Rise and Fall of Rock Radio.
